
| Alan O'Connor Position: Chidliak Project Manager Mr. O'Connor has over 25 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry including 14 years of diamond exploration with Peregrine, Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. and Stornoway Diamond Corporation. He is currently the Chidliak Project Manager where he is responsible for planning and implementing the company's work programs. Prior to joining Peregine in 2011, Mr. O'Connor held the position of Project Manager at Stornoway Diamond Corporation where he was responsible for exploration and resource level drilling of the Renard kimberlite cluster. From 2001 to 2007 he worked for Ashton Mining of Canada with his last postion there being Project Manager. At Ashton he was a member of the team that discovered the Renard kimberlite depostis and was involved with the comapny's early stage exploration programs throughout Canada. Between 1985 and 2001, Mr. O'Connor worked for several junior companies as a Geologist and was involved with gold and base metal exploration in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Argentina and Venezuela and diamond exploration in the Northwest Territories and Alberta. Mr. O'Connor received a B. Sc. in Geology in 1985 from the University of Western Ontario and is a Professional Geologist registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC. | |
